Committee Duty Descriptions

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM COMMITTEE

  • Prepare organizational charts related to the operation of the management system.
  • Ensure and monitor the currency of online resources such as the Self-Assessment and Accreditation Data System and the Department website.
  • Coordinate the distribution of tasks based on voluntary participation during the process of determining and applying assignment criteria.
  • Ensure the regular review of management system processes and the development of improvement suggestions.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective communication and implementation of management system policies.
  • Monitor and report on management system performance, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken when necessary.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ACCREDITATION COMMITTEE

  • Fulfill the requirements of the quality management system, request, initiate, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Organize and follow up on activities in line with the decisions of the Faculty Quality and Accreditation Boards.
  • Participate in meetings held by the Department Chair and share information about accreditation efforts.
  • Keep accreditation processes up to date.
  • Work in coordination with other department committees through information exchange.
  • Cooperate with the University’s Quality Coordination to ensure the quality of education, teaching, and research activities.

EDUCATION AND TEACHING COMMITTEE

  • Make necessary arrangements and updates for the program’s education and teaching.
  • Present the improvements and developments made to relevant department and faculty committees.
  • Follow the course programs offered by other universities in the country. Provide the Department Chair with information on the programs followed and ensure necessary adjustments.
  • Organize the course curriculum based on surveys and suggestions.
  • Control the course distribution among teaching staff in the department.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

  • Analyze research strategies and objectives in line with the university’s strategic plan, identify, and implement improvements and developments.
  • Evaluate research resources and work on improvements.
  • Monitor and improve the graduate education process and its performance.
  • Provide the necessary support and opportunities for faculty to improve their research competencies.
  • Assess research performance and work on improvements.
  • Enhance the department’s research activities.

INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS COMMITTEE

  • Inform internal stakeholders through announcements and meetings (online/in-person) and establish interaction.
  • Establish effective, systematic, and goal-oriented interaction with internal stakeholders; consult stakeholders’ opinions on education, research, and similar topics.
  • Identify the thoughts of internal stakeholders using various methods such as meetings, interviews, and surveys.
  • Based on the feedback from internal stakeholders, identify the department’s strengths and weaknesses, and share the results with relevant committees.

INTERNATIONALIZATION COMMITTEE

  • Implement the internationalization policies in the university’s strategic plan and create an environment that offers opportunities for intercultural interaction.
  • Follow international social and scientific activities that will enhance intercultural awareness and inform students about these activities.
  • Coordinate internationalization activities in collaboration with the University’s International Relations Coordination.
  • Ensure that students and academic staff are informed about bilateral agreements, and monitor and improve the performance of internationalization activities.

SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION COMMITTEE

  • Review the department’s social contribution strategy in line with the principle of improving interaction with stakeholders and the quality of social services.
  • Analyze the department’s social contribution resources and develop and implement effective strategies for social interaction and communication.
  • Establish communication with potential stakeholders for collaboration on social contribution projects and evaluate joint efforts.
  • Prepare reports on possible social contribution activities and their outcomes.

EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS COMMITTEE

  • Identify external stakeholders by communicating with public and private sector institutions, organizations, and alumni in the areas where university units are active.
  • Inform external stakeholders through announcements and meetings (online/in-person) to establish interaction.
  • Consult stakeholders’ opinions on education, research, and related matters.
  • Identify the views of external stakeholders using various methods such as meetings, interviews, and surveys.
  • Based on the feedback from external stakeholders, identify the department’s strengths and weaknesses and share the results with relevant committees.
